Attending Modern Mediums and Beyond the Veil in the same year is the spooky season of your dreams. You get to spend seven weeks developing your mediumship skills and immediately put that shared knowledge to work in one of the most iconic haunted locations in the country. Even if you already practice spirit communication, what makes Beyond the Veil so special is the shared foundation and sense of community that is developed in Modern Mediums.

Annual Pre-BTV Zoom Meetup

Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 6:30PM Mountain Time

This is a time to meet one another, ask questions, and go over what to generally expect at Beyond the Veil. We’ll also practice a remote viewing exercise that takes our spirit to the Stanley Hotel, giving you the opportunity to test skills you learned in Modern Mediums!

Thursday, November 7, 2024:

6PM – Gather in the Lodge entryway to pick up event credentials and welcome packet

7PM and 7:45PM – Night Tours of the Stanley

Attendees will be split in two groups and you will be assigned a time prior to the event)

8:30PM – 10PM – Beyond the Veil Tales

A cozy hangout where we swap stories from Beyond the Veil and Modern Mediums of the past

Friday, November 8, 2024: The Lodge Library, Stanley Hotel

11AM – 12:30PM - Welcome, Introductions, and Opening Invocation and Altar Set Up

Part of the Beyond the Veil experience includes creation and tending of an altar that will show respect and provide nourishment for the friendly spirits of the area so they are and willing to talk when we reach out.

12:30PM – 2:30PM – Free time and lunch on your own

2:30PM – 4:30PM – Paranormal Exploration: The Mediumship Method with Sterling Moon

Get prepped for the evening’s paranormal adventures. Sterling will share basic principles of paranormal exploration through a mediumship lens. She will also demonstrate how to use all the equipment that will be available that evening and we’ll get in some daytime practice…because ghosts don’t just come out at night!

4:30PM – 7PM – Free time and dinner on your own

7PM – 10:00PM – Spooky and Sweet: Paranormal Exploration and Dessert, catered by Loco Culture

What's better than paranormal exploration with a bunch of Modern Mediums with some coffee/tea and sweets? You'll have the opportunity to practice spirit communication using both your mediumship skills and techniques and tools from the world of paranormal exploration.

Saturday, November 9, 2024: The Lodge Library, Stanley Hotel

11AM – 12:30PM – Optional casual meet up and debrief of the night before + altar tending

12:30PM – 2:30PM – Free time and lunch on your own

2:30PM – 4:30PM – Guest Workshop with Seth Browder  - Seth will guide us through techniques to ground and protect (before, during, and after) when working with neighboring spirits. This will include ways to invoke protection to clear probable attachments from local low-vibrating energies. Learn more about Seth here.

4:30PM – 6:30PM – Free time and dinner on your own

6:30PM – 9PM – The Annual Beyond the Veil Séance - The pinnacle of the BTV experience. We will gather in a circle in the Lodge Library to contact spirits in an old fashioned seance - with some modern twists, of course!

9PM – 10PM – Closing and taking down of the Beyond the Veil altar

Capped at 25 students, Beyond the Veil is sure to be an unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful haunted locations in the country!

The Modern Mediums+ Beyond the Veil Package requires a short application, to make sure the program is a fit for what you hope to learn. Submitting an application does not guarantee entrance into the program.

The 2024 Modern Mediums + Beyond the Veil package is $1,300. If your application is approved, you will be sent a link to register within five days.

Payment options include Klarna and PayPal, which offer payment installments for most people.

Please note that Beyond the Veil registration does not include travel, lodging, food, or any other costs you may incur at or getting to Beyond the Veil. 

Fun fact - in order to have an event at a location like the Stanley, a certain number of room nights must be filled. Therefore, the expectation is that you stay onsite at the Stanley if you attend Beyond the Veil.

• You will be responsible for making your own lodging arrangements.

• A block of rooms is available for The Lodge at $199 on Thursday and $239 for Friday and Saturday for queens or kings.. There are other lodging options such as condos, but those will have different rates. 

• All reservations will need to be made through a designated contact with Guest Services. Contact information will be provided upon reservation.
